       My personal review 

Shopping at the EyeglassDirect.com website is rather easy. Just select the frames that you want and then go to the next page. Here you have the options of choosing your frame color, lens type and typing in your prescription… too easy. Then choose any of the added options.

I ordered a pair of standard CR-39 lenses for reading in the Clevand frame with no added options. This cost me $US28.00 with $US8.95 shipping – I had to pay international shipping costs as I live in Australia. US postage is $US5.95 for priority mail.

I received the order in 11 days – remember I am in Australia.

I was very satified with the delivery time as it is better than most quoted times for Australian based online sellers.

The glasses were well packed and came in a quality case with cleaning cloth. The quality of the frames were far superior than I expected. The main frame was rigid and seemed very sturdy. The nose pads were also quality with metal inserts. Some of the online sellers use all plastic nose pads which are prone to breakage. The lenses were perfect.

I would have expected to pay about $AU200 for these glasses in a Professional Optical outlet.
